SUP Zambezi. I am so proud to be part of the Standup4Rhinos.org team.
We are going to SUP (Stand-up Paddle Board) the Batoka gorge of the Zambezi river. This is the big rafting section of the Zambezi river immediately below the Victoria falls.
The team consists of 7 SUP paddlers from the USA, South Africa and Zimbabwe. We will be attempting this first ever descent of the Zambezi river gorge by SUP to raise awareness for the plight of orphan rhinos.
The beneficiary of the project is Care 4 Wild Africa a rhino orphanage in South Africa that is doing amazing work with orphan rhinos. At the rate that poachers are killing wild rhinos places like Care 4 Wild is crucial in this war against poachers.
We will be flying out to Zimbabwe on the 29th of October 2016.
